"Peli cases are the brand name to go for for equipment protection. There are other similar cases that do the same job, but if you are carrying very expensive and/or fragile equipment about, why skip on the protection. The big plus is the pre-cut foam filling which is easy to shape for the article you are protecting, although the cuts are only vertical, so you do need a sharp knife, or hot blade to make any horizontal cuts. The foam is available separately if the equipment changes (or you make a mistake cutting it :) ). The case is also available empty if you want to build custom equipment into it."
